World Cleanup Day: Join us for Plastic Fishing!
On September 20, we're taking kids out onto the water for World Cleanup Day!
Plastic and other waste don’t belong in our canals. That’s why Plastic Whale Foundation and Waterschap Amstel, Gooi en Vecht are inviting children aged 8–13 to join us for a special Plastic Fishing trip through Amsterdam.
Armed with a fishing net, we’ll head out on our boats to collect plastic and other waste from the water. Along the way, children will discover why clean water matters for people, animals and nature – and what they can do themselves to contribute to a cleaner environment.
It’s our way of making a big issue like plastic pollution tangible: by seeing it, experiencing it and taking action together.
